Release Notes 25.18

Updates 

  • PDFs from online sales now include any discounts used on the order.
  • To maintain a retailers work flow, the "Back to XXX" button on either a sale or work order details page now follows the same pattern the retailer took to get there. 
  • Retailers on the Professional website package using legacy sales can now print shipping labels directly from the order details page. 

Bug Fixes

  • Sales tax is no longer collected by retailers that do not collect out-of-state sales tax for online sales.
  • Order confirmation emails no longer reflect the previous contents of the cart.
  • For retailers on new checkout, the "ships from" location is now present in the order details in Admin.
  • For shipped online sales, entering a tracking number is no longer required to record fulfillment. 

 

Release Notes 25.17 

Updates

  • To maintain consistency on the Sales list page, the status column dropdown selector has been changed to a pill status dropdown, and the sale type has been changed from a pill to string text.
  • Payments reporting has been added to the main navigation in Admin and now appears in Admin site search.

Bug Fixes

  • In the Sales list page, multiple orders can now be downloaded as a PDF.

 

Release Notes 25.16

Updates

  • To ensure consistency with other list pages and enhance user experience, the rows on the Sale List page now display 30 results per page. Showing more rows reduces the need for excessive clicking through pages, allowing merchants to view more information at once.
  • Products generated from a Product Upload CSV are now instantly accessible for inclusion in a Purchase Order.
  • A new Sales by Line Item report now exists under the Reporting menu.

Bug Fixes

  • Sales Tax is now being properly recorded and collected for Canadian retailers using new Checkout.
  • For retailers using Lightspeed order export, all aspects of the order are now properly exporting.
  • When products are added to the cart and the user proceeds to the shipping calculation stage, any subsequent changes made to the cart will now prompt an accurate recalculation of shipping costs based on the updated cart contents.
  • When a customer is added via upload with first and last name only, an email or phone number can now be added by editing in Admin.

Bug Fixes

  • For retailers using our new checkout, the issue of incorrect products being added to the cart has been resolved.
  • In Stripe the email address associated with online orders is once again that of the customer.
  • The Create Work Order button now creates a work order instead of a sale.

Updates

  • The order confirmation page for new checkout now includes any conversion tracking code added by the retailer for Google Analytics.

  • When a consumer changes their product selection during checkout, the correct item will now be accurately displayed on the Admin orders screen.

  • When you apply a filter to the Sales list and then navigate to a sale detail page, the selected filter will now remain active when you return to the Sales list, enhancing your navigation experience.

Bug Fixes

  • Consumers will no longer receive an oops error when trying to view certain retailer-created products in the catalog.
  • When creating a customer in a Sale or Work Order and only entering first or last name, the name entered will now appear in the Sales or Work Order list.
  • Creating a new product in the catalog will now let you add the product category if you saved changes before doing so .

  • The Sales Reporting page has been enhanced to incorporate additional data points. Users can now also select from predefined time ranges, such as week-to-date and month-to-date, for more efficient reporting.

  • Shippo label printing is now an option for retailers on new Sales
  • The Reports menu has been changed to Reporting to better reflect the pages it contains
  • Improvements have been made to the layout of the Sales Reporting page for easier viewing.
  • Action history has been move out of Reporting and has been moved to the Settings menu.

Release Notes 25.10

Updates

  • When you select one or more sales from the Sales list and click the Print button, a print dialog will open, enabling you to print the selected sales directly without the need to download them first.
  • A "Special order" filter can now be applied to the sales list to easily identify orders with special orders and view their status.
  • A scroll bar has been added to each page of the Sales list to more easily see data without crowding when on a smaller screen.
  • Users can now right-click on an order in the Sales list to conveniently open it in a new tab.
  • A cash register session can now be started  by users with access to Cash Register Permissions.
  • Sorting functionality has been added to the Sales list in mobile & tablet. The new, condensed design reduces scrolling, making it quicker and easier to find the sorting option.

Bug Fixes

  • For retailers using only Workstand POS, reports are once again accessible to them.
  • For retailers using only Workstand POS, purchase orders can now be printed
  • The customer name is once again displaying in the work order list

Updates

  • When a consumer enters their email address during the first step of the checkout process but does not complete their purchase, they will receive a reminder email suggesting that they revisit their cart one hour after entering their email.

  • When a thermal receipt printer is selected for a Register in Hardware Settings the print preview for a sale or workorder now accurately shows the print format.

Bug Fixes

  • Several updates were made for new Checkout so that the price of a purchased product cannot be altered by a consumer.
  • In a New Sale and Work Order, when a new customer is attached after the removal of a previously linked customer, the system will now overwrite the existing contact information with that of the new customer.
  • When creating a work order, the consumer is no longer sent an email when the work order is created.
  • When creating a customer during a new sale or work order, the system now accurately associates the customer, even if they are not already in the merchant's customer list.
  • You can once again choose to create a Purchase order directly from the Special Orders list.

Updates

  • Point of Sale uses creating transactions on a mobile device will now see if the Stripe terminal is connected after the Summary card since that visual relates to the take payment functionality.
  • To more easily see that the system is processing when a product, custom product, or service is added to a new or existing sale or work order, there is now a 'spinner' on the Add button.
  • When uploading a customer list, phone numbers will now have non-numeric characters removed.
  • For consumers paying with Klarna, their order confirmation email now states Payment: Klarna, rather than Payment: Financing.
  • In a new sale the option to 'Email as Cart' has been moved the the More Actions drop-down above the payment information.

  • For retailers using Stripe for in-store transactions, the terminal should remain connected when switching between a sale and a work order.

Updates

  • When creating a new customer, you are now able to use emails in the aliased format. Example: username+alias@gmail.com.
  • When an order is marked ready for pickup, the consumer will now get an email with date and time information as entered in order details.
  • For retailers using Workstand POS and a hosted website with us, the product link next to the image now takes you to the product on their website in a new tab.
  • For retailers using Workstand POS only, the product link next to the image now takes you to the edit product screen in a new tab if the product is in your inventory.
  • When creating products using the bulk upload tool the status email now includes a direct link to product categorization.

Bug Fixes

  • It is once again possible to navigate directly to the Customer list from any part of the Admin.
  • For retailers using new Sales, consumers who have places an order will now use the new consumer portal order lookup to view their order status.

  • All retailers have been migrated to a new Notifications page
  • When uploading a new customer list, an error report that includes customer first and last name will be generated if there are errors.
  • You may now delete an individual customer record

Updates

  • In a work order, you may now add a quantity to a service item. For example, tire installation, qty 2. If hours/minutes are associated with the service, then the total of the quantities will be displayed.
  • After completion of an in-store sale, or for retailers using new sales,, the item quantity can now be adjusted to help a customer who wants to change their order.
  • You may now edit customer information present in the Customers list
  • You may now search by phone number in the Customers list.

Bug Fixes

  • When uploading a new customer list blank fields will now be left blank instead of showing a 'null' value.

Updates

  • When you navigate back to the Customer list after viewing a customer, any filters  previously set will remain intact.
  • For retailers using new Checkout, the Order confirmation emails will now use the information on the Notifications page.

Bug Fixes

  • For retailers using Sales or Work orders, products were temporarily not displaying. This has been corrected.
  • The Notifications page now displays correctly after a page refresh.

Updates

  • When uploading a customer list the system will no longer allow duplicate email addresses.
  • When creating a customer in a sale, now a minimum of one field is required; any of first name, last name, email address or phone number.
  • When creating a customer in a work order either an email or a phone number is required.
  • For Workstand POS retailers utilizing Conversations, the feature is now accessible in Sales as well as Work Orders.
  • The Conversations window is also larger now, opening up to an easier-to-read sidebar.

Bug Fixes

  • When creating a new customer on a sale or work order, it now automatically creates a permanent customer record
  • It is once again possible to upload a logo specifically for use in Checkout.
