Overview

  • In the dashboard, daily and monthly sales/margin data can be viewed while comparing them to goals, stretch goals as well and your shop's historical sales data.
  • The daily and monthly transaction information can also be viewed while seeing units per transaction and average transaction value. 
  • If you have the optional traffic sensors, your shop's traffic information can be viewed in this module as well.

Sales

  • In WorkstandIQ, go to Sales > Dashboard and then press the Sales tab at the top of the screen.
  • In the toolbar in the top right corner, there is a day and location selector.
  • Today will be the default day so click on the day to change to a previous day's information. 
  • Click the location to change to a different location or select "Whole Company"  to view the combined data from all locations.

Scoring

  • The month and year score is a quick glance indicator for you to easily see the health of your shop. 
  • When grading out of 100, the score is comprised of the Sales, Profit, and Margin metrics, and by default Sales are 40% of the score, Profit is 50% of the score and Margin is 10% of the score. 
  • These weights can be adjusted in the Settings for the sales module.

Daily Sales

  • All metrics pull in automatically from your Point of Sale (POS).
  • By default, the Goal and Stretch Goal are set to be based on a historical 3-year average. 
  • To adjust how the goals are determined including the weights of each year for the 3-year average, visit the Settings for the sales module.
  • Utilize the toggle in the right corner to change over to Daily Margin.

MTD Sales (Month-to-Date Sales)

  • All metrics pull in automatically from your Point of Sale (POS).
  • By default, the Goal and Stretch Goal are set to be based on a historical 3-year average. 
  • To adjust how the goals are determined including the weights of each year for the 3-year average, visit the Settings for the sales module.
  • Utilize the toggle in the right corner to change over to Monthly Margin

Monthly Sales Scoring

  • Quickly see how your shop is performing on a month-to-month basis.
  • Utilize the toggle in the right corner to see dollar amounts instead of percentages.

YTD Sales Scoring (Year to Date Sales Scoring)

  • Quickly see how your shop is performing on a month-to-month basis.
  • Utilize the toggle in the right corner to see dollar amounts instead of percentages.

Note:  For historical information, the system compares the days of the week but not the actual days themselves.  For example, Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 is the 4th Tuesday of the year so for historical information that day will be compared to the 4th Tuesday of prior years, such as Tuesday, January 26th, 2021.
