Ryan Atkinson

President + Co-Owner

Ryan has spent 30 years in and around successful local bike shops. The first decade of his career took him from turning wrenches at the local bike shop to launching new products for Trek Bicycles. He and his wife Corey then founded Harvest Retail Marketing, the premier marketing agency for bicycle retailers.

Ryan joined Workstand as a co-owner in 2016, and together with a talented team, modernized the company's software and marketing solutions. In addition to his hands-on partnerships with many of the nation's top bicycle dealers, his involvement with industry leaders through PeopleForBikes informs his understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the IBD channel. Ryan's market insights can be found on NBDA podcasts and webinars, in the pages of Bicycle Retailer and Industry News, as a speaker at industry events, or through his frequent postings on LinkedIn.

Away from work, Ryan rides his bike almost every day. He's the neighborhood "bike guy" and regularly repairs flat tires and bent derailleurs for anyone who knocks on his door.
